Federal Financial Aid · FAFSA

Your first step toward financial aid: the FAFSA

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the free government form that determines what grants and loans you qualify for. Students dual enrolled in Southeastern University degree programs are eligible for federal financial aid, and it all starts here.

It takes about 30 minutes, it costs nothing, and you don't have to figure it out alone. Our team is glad to walk you through every question.

The FAFSA is completed on studentaid.gov, the U.S. Department of Education's official site.

Complete the FAFSA

Pay by the semester

Part-time students pay per credit as they go, with no long-term commitment required to start growing.

Common Questions

Admissions FAQ

Can I work while I study?

Yes. Part-time and online options are designed for working adults. You choose your course load each semester. Many full-time students also balance part-time work alongside their studies.

Is Sun City College accredited?

Sun City College is an official extension site of Portland Bible College, which has trained Christian leaders since 1967, and the Washington Student Achievement Council has granted PBC religious exempt status for the Associate of Theology program. Through our dual-enrollment partnership, students can also earn fully accredited associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees from Southeastern University.

Do I have to attend Sun City Church to enroll?

No. Students from any church background are welcome. You'll study within the life of Sun City Church, but membership isn't a requirement to apply or enroll.

Can I switch enrollment options later?

Yes. Many students start part-time and move to full-time (or the reverse) as their season changes. Part-time PBC credits count toward the Associate of Theology, so nothing is wasted.

Is there an application fee or deadline?

There's no fee to apply. Applications for fall are open now, and we encourage applying early so we can help you plan courses, payment, and financial aid before the semester begins.
